So it was inevitable. I had to start experimenting with a blog. It probably won´t really take off until the fall, as I´m too busy at the moment to write as much as I would like to. But until then, there are the occasional gems that cross my pass. This one comes to me via my brother Randy and gives a compelling snapshot of the speed at which things are changing:

Interesting… I guess, but certainly not of its own accord. I get it, I think - one is supposed to watch and go “wow”, times are changing, like when I was 5 I could eat 1 pancake, and by the time I reach 15 I could eat a dozen. In isolation nothing is going on here with these stats. Juxtapose them with falling birthrates, increase ADD levels amongst children, a rise in divorce rates and presto… something to think about (though not necessarily a corelation). My point is stats can do so much more when their end goal isn’t “wow”.
